David Wu
I am a biomedical engineer building human-centered embedded systems. I grew up in Hangzhou and Vancouver, now studying at Waterloo.
I care deeply about designing accessible medical systems which genuinely change patients' lives, where my passion lies in medical machine learning, neural interfaces, and robotics. Previously, I was also a jazz musician studying guitar at Berklee College of Music.
I firmly believe in bridging fine arts and engineering, and addressing social inequities through building an accessible, technology-driven yet aesthetic society.
Find me travelling, cooking, and creating music throughout the world, as I believe understanding the world is the first step to changing it.
